this is good for a rabbit but to big for my little guinea pig! hes just a baby and fits his whole body in there with extra space! if buying for a guinea, get the cabbage bowl.

i know the size is listed in the product description, but it didn't dawn on me how giant this dish is for such a little critter. it's massive. couple it with the cabbage AND the radish and you've suddenly taken up the entire floor of your pet's cage. my sister is using it for a swimming pool for them.

Perfect for stuffing our rabbit's Timothy Hay and super cute and heavy. Can't beat the price even with shipping. Found same one in Petsmart and it was double the price!

Because the Amazon description of this item called it a "rabbit food bowl," I bought this to be a food (pellet) bowl for my medium-sized bunny. Of course, I should have noted the dimensions of the bowl before purchasing, but many of us tend to ignore those and focus on the description. Well, as I say, I ordered the bowl; when it arrived it turned out to be WAY too big/deep to be used for my bunny's pellets, so I decided to use it as his "salad bowl" instead, and it's perfect for that: a whole romaine lettuce leaf, some cilantro, a few baby carrots, a few leafs of basil, and an apple slice all fit easily in the dish at once (to give you an idea of how long and deep it is). This cute carrot-shaped bowl is perfect for me now that I've revised my sense of what it's for, so I'm giving it four stars, but I wanted to review the product to warn others against buying this expecting to use it as a pellet bowl for a small animal; it's much too deep.
