This comb works great after brushing to get the tangles out and remove any loose hair. My dog is not too crazy about it because it pulls but the comb itself is fine.

I bought this brush for my long-haired cat and it works great. My vet suggested this type of long-toothed, sturdy-handled brush for my Maine Coon Mix, and after much searching at the local pet shops, I finally found this available on Amazon. I would highly recommend this for any long-haired cat owners looking for a heavy-duty brush that will actually comb and remove all that extra fur!
