 Itch Reliever for CockerMay 09, 2010

My cocker spaniel has lots of itches and when he is most frenzied I give him a bath with this product (twice a month) and it seems to calm his scratching for a few days. I now have the groomer use it or something similar otherwise each time he returns from the groomer he is scratching and chewing on himself for ten days. The vet says whatever works, use it.

My Shih Tzu has a severe flea allergy. This shampoo soothes her and lets her rest from all of the scratching and itching. I am pleased with this shampoo.

I asked my vet about this product and he told me it was basically Selsun Blue for dogs. I remember using Selsun Blue and it wasn't the gentlest of shampoos. This however is fantastic. It says that it conditions as it works. I have used several shampoos and conditioners (separate products) to keep my dogs coat soft and supple. This is better then any of the high priced specialty shampoos and conditioners I have used. It works drastically better the Oatmeal Aloe shampoo at reducing itching and scratching, and her coat is more soft, shiny, and supple, then any of the high priced products I've used. If for nothing else then the cleaning and conditioning, this is definitely an excellent product. It also saves a lot of time not having to use conditioner after I shampoo her. I really recommend this product.

My poodle had some sort of rash. It looked like a flea reaction, but we use Frontline and I haven't seen any fleas anywhere. She had scratched her hind end nearly bald when I tried this shampoo. Before she was even dry, she was peacefully asleep. Couldn't ask for more.

I've tried several shampoos for my dog trying to 1) Make her smell better and 2) Make her coat softer. None of them have really done the job until this shampoo. I will never use any other shampoo but this in the future!
