This hamster wheel was perfect! It fit my Crittertrail hamster cage like a charm and it was much quieter than my old wheel. I loved this wheel and so did my hamster.

I bought this new wheel because my hamster chewed the old one up. This new wheel is great because it is quiet and there is a removable snap-in cup to catch anything in the wheel.

Our Twizzle absolutely loves this wheel. He can go extremely fast and it is quieter than the others. He can go in from the funnel we have it attached to and also turn around in it. He runs one direction, slows, and turns around to run the other direction!!! Funny to watch. He used to fall off or slip with his footing on the inside the cage type wheel. Wh have ctrittertrail II and this works like a charm! HIGHLY recommended!!!!!! You won't be let down and your furry friend will have the time of his/her life!
Some reviews say that their pet would nest and live in the wheel. Ours doesn't. It does come with a pee-pee and poo catcher, but we don't use it. We have a napkin under it. It does spill out his poo and his bedding that he takes in with him!!! Easy to clean and just throw napkin away each morning!!!!

I love this wheel...but I did have one prong of the a axel break while removing the wheel for cleaning. It's now actually easier to remove with one prong instead of pinching two together. When our critters pee in the wheel the acid etches the axel eventually causing the squeak. It's super easy to solve. After cleaning your wheel just spray "Pam " on the axel and no more squeak. Plus it spins faster for the critters too.
