I like it, my hamsters like to roll it aroundNov 18, 2009
By Linda Ruiz I was trying to give the two male hamsters that we have something to nest in. Problem is that they both are really too big to fit into this small nest alone. They need a slightly larger sized nest. The other problem is floor space, since anything bigger than this small nest probably will not fit well on the floor of their cage. I suspect the picture shown is for the next size up. Our hamsters do seem to like to roll it around though. Surprisingly they did not chew on it and have not torn it apart for their nests, although they definitely liked the newspaper I put in their sleeping condos this past weekend. If your hamster is more than 3" large, you have the room for it, and it has not created any sort of nest, then try one out in the medium size. Some hamsters like it, some don't: Your mileage may vary.

Even fits fatty hamsters!Jul 06, 2010
By Heather A. Reay Got this for my son's fat hamster and he seems to like it. He doesn't roll around in it or anything but then again he's a fatty hamster.

By MGMathews1988 It's nice to have if you don't want to replace the pet bedding with hay but is easly chewed up and torn apart, you might want to order two.

3 Out of 3 Say NO!Jan 15, 2012
By Shopping Fool These nests came with the starter cages I ordered(3). Let's just say I'm thankful I didn't pay for them. 3 out of 3 hamsters avoided these like the plague. They didn't even like to go near them. I tried putting tissues in them to make them a little more appealing, but to no avail. They took the tissues to their favorite hiding places and left the nests unused. They took up space, so I just took them out.

Perfect pet houseDec 19, 2011

Mr. H loves this nesting ball. He is particular about it being upright though and he nests underneath of it. I have never seen him or the other Hamster actually in it like the picture, but he definitely likes being under it. Tough and durable with no destruction so far. Fits nicely in the small habitat.
