This definitely feeds my pig for DAYS. If I go away I only need to worry about water now. Feeder works like a charm. Yes, it gets knocked down sometimes, but it has happened maybe 3 times so far. Absolutely worth it!!

GreatApr 20, 2011
By bigsisj It works great. It is chew proof and my guinea pigs love it. It would be great for guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets.

guinea pig feederJan 30, 2011
By erdo I thought this was a feeder you could put food in for a weekend when we would be gone. but it does not have an attachment for the cage so the animal can knock it over easily. the food spills out and he can access all the food at the same time. He is a pig, what do you think, of course he eats it all at once. it does nothing more than if you over filled the bowl in his cage before you went away for a couple days

Not Chew ProofMay 10, 2011

"I am Jack's smirking revenge."
It screwed on nice and tight to the cage, Bunbury the Rabbit pulled it off. I used a nontoxic glue...and he chewed through the exact right spot to get it off and dump the whole thing all over the cage. Maybe I just need a dumber rabbit :-)
To address what appears to be comments on size, it holds enough food for it to still be fresh food. I wouldn't want for it to feed my rabbit for two weeks because the food at the bottom would always be stale.
This product didn't make any promises it couldn't keep, it was simply not what I was hoping for.
Really happy about this purchaseMar 04, 2012
By stitchmama We have two guinea pigs who always used to tip over their feed bowls every day. We would end up wasting a ton of food and felt like I was buying a 10 pound bag every week! This feeder has been great to eliminate waste and I don't feel like I am constantly refilling their food. Definitely recommend this product!
