This toy was rated a Tuff 6. It lasted a nine month old lab mix puppy for a week. He tore open the head after a week.

But as an Australian Shepherd mix who likes to meticulously open the seams of cheaper plush toys or removes the stuffing and squeakers to present to me, this toy was awesome. She can get very rough with it, and chomps on it trying to find the squeaker. She's had this one for almost 2 years and has just now managed to get through his head. I also have had the crab for about a year, which isn't nearly as fun for playtime as the alligator.

My girlfriend picked up one of these for my dog about a week before I picked up their Mighty Dog Bee toy. My lab had this in shreds in about 10 minutes. If your dog shreds cheaper toys, he'll do the same with one of these.
