Not as good as the other toys from this companyAug 10, 2011
By Patricia Wendt I have three dogs that destroy stuffed pet toys. They first give them a squeakerectomy then completely disembowel them. We have had great luck with the shark and ring version of these toys. They last MUCH longer than other toys and are worth the extra price. Even when they do finally find a way to get to the innards, I'm ok with it since at least they are destroying a toy and not anything valuable. Since the others I have tried were so tough, I was happy to see the large selection of other versions on Amazon. It was a little bigger than I thought it would be. I have trouble tossing it very far and my smaller blue tick/lab struggles a bit carrying it back. But she loves it. The larger lab and collie (90 lbs each) have not destroyed it yet when they do play with it. I was surprised that it had no squeakers in it at all. Maybe that is why it hasn't been worked on by the toy destroyers as much as the other toys. Over all, I love this brand but would recommend another version unless you have a massive dog.

Lasted over a year with a growing Boxer Puppy!Dec 20, 2010
By digginitez I LOVE this toy! We got this pig for our older dog that intentionally destroys every toy within seconds. She tried for hours and finally gave up on it. Then our adopted boxer puppy comes along and this is his best friend. When he first arrived, he was half the size of the pig and couldn't even move it. He would grab onto the tail or ear and shake it so hard that his whole body shook, but the pig didn't budge. As he grew, the pig went everywhere with him. He played with it and slept with it. If he wanted to reach something (i.e., your hand to be pet or to look into a cage that contained our ferrets), he would scoot pig over and stand on it with his front paws as a stool. This pig lasted over a year without losing its stuffing and, even then, the pig still went everywhere with him. This toy was the best investment EVER! Oh, and our older dog doesn't try to rip everything apart immediately anymore...thanks to the pig!

Destroyed in four daysJul 09, 2011
By Ta2dFrog My dog chews up all of her toys, so I read other reviews and decided to try this toy thinking it would last a long time. She tore through it in four days...it was completely demolished. I do not recommend this toy if your dog can chew up most dog toys.
Not too durable... be prepared to sewMay 14, 2012
By Chunk_28 I bought this for my 10 month old beagle after a referral from my Brother saying how good 'Tuff Toys' are. This a way more durable than most dog toys however I was a little let down. The seams around the legs and ears were not great. I could pull them and see the stuffing right out of the package. My puppy figured that out within about an hour too and started to get the stuffing out. I caught it quickly and got my needle and thread out and fixed it. It took about 2 hours of sewing but now it's much better. I would still recommend this but just be prepared to sew it up if you want it to last.
-2 stars for durability but +1 since my dog loves it so much. So all in all 4 stars. I would buy again, however, I might go for one that is rated a 9 or 10 in the durability instead of this 7.
