I bought this toy for my dog in June and it still looks like new. It has stood up to tug of war and many other doggie activities. My dog likes this toy, but she likes Oscar the Octapus (same brand) much better. I think all the legs make Scorch a little more difficult to get her mouth around.

Our killer heeler loves to play with this scorpion. She is intrigued by the two squeakers embedded in the toy and loves to bite on them. She also loves thrashing the piece to and fro and slamming it on the floor. She is a tough and rough dog with her toys, but this one seems to withstand everything pretty well. I imagine she will eventually break it, but the last toy made by the same brand, a spider, lasted almost a year...This one seems just as durable.

I have 2 big dogs and this toy lasted one year. They both loved it and I will order it again. It is not as sturdy as other toys I bought from Tuffy's (I have some other toys for 2 years), but they enjoyed it.

I wish I had this link earlier because I had photos on my computer and since have deleted them. This toy lasted one hour. When I tell you it looked like it went through a shredder believe that! The shredding part took several hours. This is not a Rottie, a Pit Bull, Shepard, Doberman, but a Golden Retrievor, 1 1/2 years old. I purchased a $3.99 heavy braided rope ball on Sunday and that is still intact. For the price of these Tuffy toys forget it. Suppose to be rated high and let's face it what dog sits there and licks it. They are going to toss it, shake it and chew.
