I've been feeding my plecostomus cucumbers. Cucumbers are cumbersome, no pun intended, so I looked for a solution. I've fed him wafers in the past, but he is extremely happy with the cucumbers. Anyway I read the comments on these wafers, and took a chance. He loves them and so do my other bottom feeders. I recommend this product.

I would highly recommend Tetra Veggie Extreme Wafers for any herbivore pleco's,as they are an excellent source of algae food & also enhance their colors.

I break these up into small pieces for my Black Moors and as soon as they hit the water they go into a searching frenzy like an addict looking for a lost pipe.
I have not seen an increase in algea in my tank, but the little guys eat them as fast as they hit the water.
Package is ziploc resealable and arrived noticeably fresh. A good amount of food for a low cost.
Highly recommend.
