I purchased this item for use at the beach on vacation for my 75 lb. golden retriever. It worked perfectly, grind it down into the sand, hook the tie out to your dogs collar and they have plenty of room to roam without being on their typical short leash and without worry that they'll run off. My dog did manage to pull the entire tie out out of the sand on the very last day due to a giant crab creeping by but she ran right to the water and obviously it was easy to grab the end of the tie out, so all was well. This was a great product, I was skeptical on how well it would work to actually stay put in the sand and w/the size and strength of my dog but again I'm thoroughly impressed.

Good value! Well built and works with large or small dogs. Very strong construction. No issues after a full summer of use. Good buy.

We bought this to go camping with our lab puppy.
Screwed the Tie Out into the ground, attached to puppy, and seconds later puppy was bounding into our laps with Tie Out attached.
We took cable off the tie out, attached it around a pole, and that worked beautifully for the rest of the weekend. (and he ran and tugged against it).

Fairly easy to anchor in the ground and holds well even with my 50 lb (all muscle) german shepherd mix. Protective rubber tip broke with first use, though. Otherwise great product!

This stake is a great value. We used it at the beach with our 60 lb Lab puppy, and it held up extremely well. The stake is long enough to get a really good hold, and the cable swivels nicely around the post to avoid any hangups. The clasps on the cable got a bit jammed up with sand, but we cleaned them out & they're working fine again. 15 feet of tether is just right for the beach as well. Highly recommended.
