It's ok as long as the fountain/pond is cleanOct 18, 2011

This product kept my fountain (very!) clean for about 6 months, and then it became murky again, even after using this product. I guess one should clean the fountain every 6 months, and use this weekly in between cleanings to maintain freshness and clear water.
Might work if your pond is just a 55-gallon drumSep 01, 2011
By Savory Dave Pond algaecides have to be one of the biggest money-makers for these companies who sell them. I've given up on expecting an 8 oz. bottle of 'who-knows-what' to keep my pond clear, and now I just use good ole' Hydrogen Peroxide from Costco for $2 a half-gallon. The fish don't mind it, the algae hates it - give it a try!
