Description:

Our new Ultra Violet filter is easy and quick to use. It filters and cleans your pond in three ways: 1.Mechanical and Biological Filtration pads clean debris from the pond and are a perfect home for beneficial bacteria 2. Our 5 watt UV Sterilizer, built into the floating filter, reduces micro-organisms and bacteria resulting in clean, clear water 3.The fountain head helps add oxygen back into the pond with the clean water accelerating aerobic activity which leads to clean water. 3Works good, had to replace the first one ...May 18, 2012

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2MMU1JUQJH5UB My Mommy bought this floating filter for our pond. The first one didn't work at all and she took it back. Then the second one worked very well. It keeps the water clear, even when it gets dirt in it.

I am not too sure about the water spraying out of the top of it, but it looks pretty at night when I'm outside. It also makes it nice since the lights reflect on the spray and makes everything easier for me to see.

Mommy says it keeps mosquitoes from breeding in the pond ... I guess they don't want to get wet. But the birds go down and sit where it sprays a little bit.

1total junkJul 08, 2011

I purchased a pond boss a couple of weeks ago, and it is one of purchases I am truly sorry I made. This is one of the poorest designed hunks of junk I have ever seen! To clean the filter is a nightmare, although you probably don't need to clean it since every thing the filter has caught falls back into the pond the second you lift it out of the water! The filter material lets large enough items pass to plug up the fountain head.... I have about a 400 gallon pond and the pond boss does not keep the water any where near clear.. I would return it , but the company I purchased from says all sales are final..... This was a total waste of money..

3Seems to Clean But Can't Get to Filter for CleaningJul 12, 2011
By RickMichigan
From an aesthetic point of view this filtration device is quite nice. But when you want to clean the filter, things become complicated. Changing the filter is quite complicated and multi-stepped with the first step removing the locking screw and then moving on to steps two thru six, where you are basically taking apart the whole assembly. Only problem is I've gone through six phillips head screwdrivers and none of them will fit the cross-head (of the locking screw). Additionally, the cross-head depth is very shallow which means you can strip it easily. I'm coming to the conclusion that this will have been a $100 + dollar mistake based on not being able to get the housing off in order to clean the filter. I've had the Total Pond Floating UV Filter in the water from late May till mid-July. I have a small pond and am currently substituting a filter I've had for some time - it's very easy to clean this filter.

1Only good if you want a green pondMay 10, 2012

This is a terrible product. It's a great idea, but it doesn't work. My 150 gallon pond turned green within days of putting it in. Don't waste your money.
