the sticker on the front claims that it holds only 25lbs but i suspected that it would hold more so i bought it and a new 30lb bag of Taste of the Wild and it took the whole thing. i was glad because the 50lb version was just too big. so just FYI, it will hold 30 lbs of dog food.

This is the second one we bought of these. Love them since one of our dogs is on prescription food we had to order an additional one time keep the food seperate...these are air tight and work awesome

I cannot stand the smell of dogfood. It makes me sick to my stomach. This container is very sturdy and it seals the dog food very nicely. I cannot smell it at all. Great product.

Just ordered this for use in holding Kitty litter rather than pet food. I buy in bulk to save in the long run and a lot of bulk buys have bags rather than bins to store litter in, plus I am not a fan of continuously purchasing bins. This easily fits a 42lb bag of kitty litter and the wheals still roll very smoothly. In addition the nice wide opening makes pouring in and scooping out litter a snap. Love it!

I bought the large model to hold both cat and dog food bags. The lid closes with a nice whoosh which I like. There is a rubber seal that surrounds the lid to keep the chow fresh. Usually after a few weeks you see the chow change color when using a long bag clamp. With this, the chow is still dark brown, just like a new bag after one month of use. (It doesn't seem necessary to close the bags in the container either). The wheels are internal and work great. It slides in and out of out the pantry smoothly with with practically zero effort. The lid is easy to open and close and has a firm clasp that snaps when shut completely. Seems perfect to me.
Update. I've now gone through four bags of chow and each remained dark in color and fresh smelling until the bottom of the bag. I have no doubt as to whether or not the seal is tight...it is!
