This item isn't terribly realistic. It's cheap and comes with three pieces though so it'll fill your tank quickly. Depends on what you're looking for but I prefer more real looking plants. A lot of plastic show under the leaves also, hard to arrange the branches cuz they don't really do what you tell them to and they don't come very fluffed out. It may be that they'll spread out with time, mine have been in only a day.

We purchased these and are very happy with them. They are a great size for a 5 gallon or larger tank (a little too much for anything smaller unless you are going for the underwater jungle look). They look full and lifelike. Also, they are soft fabric so I don't need to worry about them shredding the beta fish's fins and tail. Great quality for the price!

I bought these plants for my betta's 5 gallon hex aquarium and they're perfect. The leaves are nice and soft so they don't tear his fins and they make the aquarium look very pretty. They're just the perfect size for the aquarium without over-loading it. As other reviewers have said, the leaves droop when out of water, but they float nicely when in the water.

I really hadn't wanted to put plants in my aquarium, but then I read how plants make fish more comfortable and less stressed, so I decided that it was something I needed to do. Since I have no green thumb at all with regular houseplants, I couldn't imagine trying to grow them in my aquarium. I considered both plastic and silk plants, and decided that even though the silk ones were more expensive, it would be worth it both for the appearance in the aquarium but also for the fishes well being.
I am SO happy I bought these. They are the perfect height in my 15 gallon aquarium. They look really gorgeous and lifelike, and the fishes seem quite happy with them.
I highly recommend them!
