 Don't buy dog treats online.Jul 07, 2011

Vital Life makes the best treats for dogs. They don't add sugar or salt. Walmart used to carry them, but they have been discontinued. I searched online and found Amazon sells them, so I ordered these treats. I don't know how long it has been sitting in Amazon's warehouse. When I opened the bag, there was mold all over!!!! And I don't know how to return them, so I am never going to buy dog treats from Amazon again!!

These little guys not only drive my dog wild, they also last her a long time. Normally treats get chewed once and swallowed within seconds, but these treats last my dog up to a full minute. After pulling off the chicken, the tough, yet tasty sweet potato takes a while to get through. Also, the price is incredible for this high-quality, fair quantity product! I will continue to buy this product for life.

I purchased 6 bags of Vitalife Duck and Sweet Potato Dog Treats. They were so overbaked that they were dry and brittle. They looked to be molding as they had white stuff on them. I contacted Northdown Industries and Vitalife and did not receive any satisfaction. I will be very hesitant to purchase on line again

Our Cocker Spaniel has allergies and can not eat certain foods. These treats are on her "OK" list. They are her favorite. I wish I could find them locally in stores.

This is my very first review on Amazon. I'm usually too lazy for reviews, but I feel compelled to write this one for the sake of our beloved pets. Now, let me start off with saying, my little shih tzu LOVES these and most other Vitalife treats. They're delicious (I'm assuming), healthy, and not too expensive. What else can you ask for?
The problem is that the treats in my bag were COVERED IN WHITE MOLD, and I didn't discover this until I decided to poor the treats into a different storage container. Imagine my total disgust and disbelief when I saw the molded treats on the bottom of the bag. My poor puppy had already eaten four of these treats....I just hope that there wasn't any mold on the ones I had given him.I didn't read the reviews for this product before buying this, and now I really wish I had. Turns out, there are at least three other reviewers who had experienced this.
I reported this to Amazon and the best they could do was refund my purchase price of $2.88. How is that supposed to make up for anything? You would think that after an X number of people reported receiving molded stock, they would do something about it, but no, the molded bags are still there.
So please, buy these treats....just not the 5.7 oz bags from AMAZON. At least not until they clear out the bad stock sitting in their warehouse.
