Rope not really needed, but still a cool thingJan 09, 2012
By Amanda P. When I got this product for my gerbil, she actually showed an immediate interest despite the other reviews about how other peoples' animals didn't really seem interested. My gerbil really seems to like this little thing, especially if she's really bored. Unfortunately, she chewed the rope to bits right away and the whole 'Salt on a rope' thing turned into just merely 'Salt with a hole through the middle'. Regardless, this is a cool natural product for small animals who might take an interest if they get bored enough. Oh, and the salt is a little bigger than you think. :) Not a bad thing.
I've only seen my guinea enjoy this once.Sep 04, 2011
By Snailey When I first got this, my guinea licked it and seemed to enjoy it. But since then, I've never seen him use it. I've had it for probably about a month now and it's still perfectly intact from when I first got it. Maybe because he's still a kid he doesn't really know what to do with it? I don't know. But because he doesn't seem to enjoy it, I can't give it a great review.
