I am very pleased with the Catnip Scratching Post. It conveniently hangs from the doorknob on the hall closet and every time my cat passes, he stops to do a little scratching. It seems to satisfy his natural urge to scratch.

I had intended to buy the regular size scratching post (it was early in the morning when I placed my order!) so when this showed up I was suprised and dissapointed. But my cat like this one better and tore it all the shreds. Sometimes she could lay down on the thing and seemed very content doing so. If you've never used one of these try it. It's great for a cat who is not declawed and needs to scratch something. It has saved me countless items of importance and furniture.
