I've gotten two of these thermometers...I use one for the "cool" side of my corn snake's vivarium, and use the other for her feeding box. They work well, reads the temp accurately from where the probe is located at. I plan on getting more when I add another snake to our family.

I purchaced a pair of these for my leopard gecko tank to replace the stick on type I had. these are better than what I had, and I recommend these as a visual back-up only to an IR temp gun

This thermometer works as advertised. My only complaint is the suction cup to hold it in place isn't the greatest and will come off from time to time. However, this is just a minor annoyance.
