Tortoise love itMar 08, 2010
I have a sulcata tortoise who has a indoor enclosure and did not want to use soil in the house; My tortoise digs and burrows into this product and loves it.
Great for Humid HideMar 07, 2010
I use this product in humid-hides for my ball pythons. The winters here in Michigan are particularly dry, and it helps me to produce enough humidity for them to properly shed. I do not use it as bedding for the entire cage (use aspen), only for their humid-hides during shed time, and it has worked wonderfully. I prefer it to the sphagnum moss that is typically used in a humid hide.

this coconut fiber works great for our three tortioses. i would recommend this product to anyone who have a tortoise or a reptile in which they need to keep the ground moist.
