By turtle lover My turtle, Spike, had cloudy eyes & was unable to catch his food. I went on line & found Zoo Med Turtle Eye Drops. I started medicating his eyes as directed & within two days his eyes were clearing up. At the end of the week his eyes were 100% improved. I recommend Zoo Med Turtle Eye Drops or any other Zoo Med product. I hope you never need them, but if you do, try the Zoo!
For Ornate Box turtleDec 20, 2011
By Hunter My Ornate Box turtle had one eye that was shut up. I put two drops a day on, & with a week she had her eye open. I used this for about two weeks. It did a good job.
Just a quick fix!Sep 16, 2010
By Sheila I tried this product for my tortoise who couldn't open one eye. I kept trying it and nothing was working. I finally took him to the vet, and it turns out that he has the reptile version of pink eye and needs antibiodics. The reason I say I hate this stuff is that it gives reptile owners the idea that they can get away with not taking their tortoises to the vet, perhaps because of the expense. If you really love your pet, give him a fighting chance and take him to a professional. Don't try to put a bandaid on a broken leg.
