Excellent product, a must-have for anyone with a living ecosystemMay 04, 2010
By Regular Amazon Shopper Highly recommend this product! I personally own two of these, controlling the lights, heat and filters in each of my terrariums. These timers are very convenient and durable. No technical problems after 2+ years of non-stop use. The convenience and compact design simply can not be beat. Before this device came out, I had an ugly combination of multiple timers, splitters and cords in every direction hanging next to my terrariums. Now I just have one neat power strip. The device is easy to program, just follow the directions. I also added some markings with a sharpie, that way I don't need the manual to re-program the device.

one of two timers died after weeksDec 18, 2011
By bayareakirk Great idea that should make managing lights and heat in a terrarium painless but less than one month old and one of the two timers has stopped moving. Now it's useless to me. Not sure if I even want a warranty replacement.

Danger!Sep 06, 2010
By Dani This power strip blew out my heat lamp (both brand new). Upon looking inside it had completely melted all the circuit boards and could have caused a dangerous fire. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone.
Ugh!Feb 10, 2012
By J. Riggs I have had such bad luck with these zilla timers! I bought this one after the digital version stopped working correctly, figuring this one wouldn't screw up if there was a power surge. As I was pushing down the pins to set the top timer, there was a pop, and now I can hear something rolling around inside the strip! To top it off, neither of the timers are moving! The strip itself seems to work fine - the lights turn on/off at the correct time when I spin the dial around myself, and the switches that control the outlets for each timer also seem to work correctly.
I just picked this up *today*, so this is how it is operating straight out of the box. Unacceptable! Ruggedly built?! Yea right!
