the BEST uvb bulbJul 28, 2011

I bought this after a lot of research. There is a similar named, repti-glo bulb, but that isnt supposed to be that good at emmitting the uvb rays. That is also the one most commonly sold at chain pet stores. If you have a reptile that needs uvb, you need this light!
the 32 watt light is 48" which is confusing by the ad

There is no UVB sold in america better than the Reptisun 10.0. This is a high quality bulb made in Germany.
I use it for my bearded dragons and they couldn't be happier. Other inferier bulbs have been known to emit the wrong UV wavelengths, causing a host of problems not limited to eye damage and metabolic bone disorder (due to lack of proper UV).
I was worried about shipping such a fragile item but the bulb came in a well packaged box and worked as advertised. Thanks amazon!
